EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, HINNESOTA, HELD August 8 , 1977. * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, said City on the 8th day of August , 1977, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Mayor ~s, Councilnen Hess, Anderson, Curley and Grauel and the following members were absent: NOne Member Grauel in troduced the follow- ing resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 6537 WHEREAS, on June 27, 1977, the City Council of the City of Roseville enacted Resolution No. 6507 dealing with a policy of deferred special assessments for senior citizens; and, WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend paragraph 2.C. (1) to clarify when a hardship exists, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: 2.C(1) of Resolution No. 6507, is amended to read: "The average annual assessment installment exceeds 1% of the previous year's total adjusted gross incomes, for federal income tax purposes, for all owners of the property; in no event shall 'total adjusted gross income' include social security benefits, railroad retirement benefits, retirement benefits attributable to employee contributions, disability benefits, personal injury awards or workmen's compensation payments." The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Member Hess and upon a vote being taken, the following voted in favor of the Resolution: All present and the following voted against the same: NOne WHEREUPON, the said Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
