<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF ROSEVILLE, HINNESOTA, HELD August 8 , 1977. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular <br />meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />said City on the 8th day of August , 1977, at <br />7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor ~s, <br />Councilnen Hess, Anderson, Curley and Grauel <br />and the following members were absent: NOne <br /> <br />Member Grauel in troduced the follow- <br />ing resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6537 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on June 27, 1977, the City Council of the <br />City of Roseville enacted Resolution No. 6507 dealing with <br />a policy of deferred special assessments for senior citizens; <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend paragraph <br />2.C. (1) to clarify when a hardship exists, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />2.C(1) of Resolution No. 6507, is amended to <br />read: <br /> <br />"The average annual assessment installment <br />exceeds 1% of the previous year's total adjusted <br />gross incomes, for federal income tax purposes, <br />for all owners of the property; in no event shall <br />'total adjusted gross income' include social <br />security benefits, railroad retirement benefits, <br />retirement benefits attributable to employee <br />contributions, disability benefits, personal <br />injury awards or workmen's compensation payments." <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing <br />Resolution was duly seconded by Member Hess <br />and upon a vote being taken, the following voted in <br />favor of the Resolution: All present <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: NOne <br /> <br />WHEREUPON, the said Resolution was declared duly <br />passed and adopted. <br />
