EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City ofRoseville, Minnesota, was held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, August 14, 1995, at 5:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Wiski, Mastel, Goedeke, P. Johnson, and V. Johnson, and the following were absent: None. Councilmember P. Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 9207 CONCURRENCE WITH USE OF COUNTY ST ATE AID HIGHWAY DESIGNATION ON T. H. 88 WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation and Ramsey County have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding which provides for the consolidation of roadway jurisdictions in Ramsey County; and t WHEREAS, the Memorandum of Understanding includes a consolidation plan, prepared in conjunction with municipalities of Ramsey County; and WHEREAS, the consolidation plan provides for the turnback of State Trunk Highway 88 from the West County Line to County Road 0 to Ramsey County; and WHEREAS, Ramsey County intends to accept the jurisdictional change on November 1, 1995, and will place the. 80 mile segment on the County State Aid Highway system; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of Rose vi lIe, Minnesota, concurs with the establishment and designation of the turnback segment of State Trunk Highway 88 ITom the West County Line to County Road D as a County State Aid Highway (CSAH) in Ramsey County under provisions of Minnesota Law, subject to the approval of the Commissioner of Transportation of the State of Minnesota; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to forward two certified copies of this resolution to the Commissioner of Transportation of the State of Minnesota, and upon his approval of the designation of the said roadway or portion thereof, that the same be constructed, improved, and maintained as a. County State Aid Highway in Ramsey County, to be numbered and known as County State Aid Highway 88. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Goedeke and upon roll call vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Wiski, Mastel, Goedeke, P. Johnson, and V. Johnson, and the following voted against the same: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
