EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD DE~ER 19, 1977 * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regu- lar meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall in said City on the 19th day of December , 1977, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Mayor nmos, Counci1.rren Hess, CUrley, Grauel, Anderson and the following members were absent: None Member Curley introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 6600 A RESOLUTION DETERMINING TO ACQUIRE BY CONDEMNA- TION UNDER THE POWERS OF EMINENT DOMAIN CERTAIN LAND IN FEE SIMPLE FOR THE PURPOSE OF ACQUIRING AND MAINTAINING A PARK FOR THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, h~D DIRECTING THAT THE NECESSARY PROCEEDINGS BE INSTITUTED FOR SUCH PURPOSE. WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Rose- ville deems it necessary and expedient and in the best interest of the City to acquire the following described land for park purposes for said City; and WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Rose- ville has been advised by competent advisers and committees that the following described real property is desirable to acquire as a park; and WHEREAS, the City of Roseville has been unable to negotiate for the purpose of purchasing said land; and WHEREAS, under the statutes of the State of Minnesota the City has the power to take and acquire such property by eminent domain; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: The City Council hereby deems it necessary and convenient that the property described below be acquired being situated in the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey and State of Minnesota, to-wit:
