EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA - HELD Janua:ry 9, 1978 * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall in said City on the 9th day of January, 1978. The following members were presents: Mayor ~s, Councilmen Anderson, Curley, Franke and Kehr and the following members were absent: None Member Anderson and moved its adoption: introduced the following Resolution RESOLUTION NO. 6603 A RESOLUTION DETERMINING TO ACQUIRE BY CONDEIvlNATION UNDER THE POWERS OF EMINENT DOMAIN PERMANENT EASEMENTS ACROSS AND UNDER CERTAIN LANDS FOR THE PURPOSES OF CONSTRUCTING, MAINTAINING, AND OPERATING UNDERGROUND STOID1 SEWER LINES, PIPES, AND APPURTENANCES FOR THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AND THAT THE NECESSARY PROCEEDINGS BE COMPLETED FOR SAID PURPOSE, AS A PART OF IMPROVE- IvlENT 76-8: WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Roseville has been advised by competent advisers and committees that it is feasible to construct, maintain, repair underground storm sewer mains, pipes and appurtenances; and WHEREAS, The City Council deems it necessary and expedient and in the best interest of the City to acquire permanent easements across and under certain lands for the above purposes; and WHEREAS, under the statutes of the State of Minnesota, the City has the power to take and acquire said property by condemnation under the power of eminent domain; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: The City Council of the City of Roseville hereby deems it necessary and expedient that the City acquire permanent easements across the properties described in the attached Petition in Condemnation. That permanent easements be acquired for the purposes of constructing, maintaining and operating underground storm sewer mains, pipes and appurtenances for the City of Roseville,
