<br />Extract of Hinutes of Meeting <br />of City Council of <br />City of Roseville <br />Rams ey Coun ty, r1innesota <br /> <br />Held: February 27, 1978 <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council <br />of the City of Roseville met in regular session at the City Hall <br />on Monday, the 27th day of February, 1978, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Demos and Council- <br />men Curley, Kehr, Franke and Anderson; and the following were <br />absen t : None. <br /> <br />Councilman Kehr introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br /> <br />Resolution No. 6619 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND PROVIDING <br />FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT NO. SS-W-ST-P-77-27 <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Roseville as <br />follows: <br /> <br />1. By resolution adopted December 19, 1977, the Council <br />has directed the City Public Works Director to prepare a pre- <br />liminary report as to the feasibility of a proposed improvement <br />generally in the area bounded by Rice Street on the east, <br />Galtier Circle on the west, Transit Avenue on the south, and <br />Wewer's Road on the north, by the construction of bituminous <br />surfacing, concrete curb and gutter, sanitary sewer main, water- <br />main, storm sewer, and necessary appurtenances. The Public <br />Works Director was also directed to include in the report the <br />estimated cost of the proposed improvement and as to whether <br />such improvement should best be made as proposed or in connec- <br />tion with some other improvement. The preliminary report and <br />cost estimate have been submitted and considered by the Council <br />and are hereby approved and directed to be placed on file in <br />the office of the City Manager. The improvement proposed to be <br />made in the general manner set forth in the report is designated <br />as Improvement No. SS-W-ST-P-77-27. <br /> <br />2. The Council shall meet at the City Hall, 2660 Civic <br />Center Drive, in said City, on March 20, 1978, at 7:30 o'clock <br />p.m. for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the proposed <br />improvement under and pursuant to the provisions of Minnesota <br />Statutes, Chapter 429, and the Manager is hereby authorized <br />and directed to cause notice of the time, place and purpose of <br />that meeting to be published twice in the official newspaper, <br />Roseville Sun, which publications shall be a week apart, and <br />
