EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD JUNE 12 , 1978 * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regu- lar meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall in said City on the 12th day of June , 1978, at 7:30 o'clock p.m.---- The following members were present: Acting Mayor Curley, Councilmen Kehr, Anderson, Franke and the following members were absent: Mayor Demos Member Anderson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 6652 WHEREAS, the following described lands, to-wit: The West 80 feet of the North 150 feet of Lot 1 of Thornton's Subdi- vision of the Northeast Quarter of Section 13, Township 29, Range 23. are tax-forfeited lands; and WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City of Roseville to acquire the same and use the same for park purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: 1. That it is in the public interest to acquire the real property described above and it is the intention of the City of Roseville to use said land for park purposes. 2. That the Mayor and Manager are authorized and directed to sign the application by a Governmental Subdivision for Conveyance of Tax-forfeited Lands Under Minnesota Statutes, Section 282.01, Subdivision 1. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Frank , and upon a vote being taken, the following voted in favor of the resolution: All t presen and the following voted against the same: None WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
