<br />E)cr'RACI' OF MINUTES OF MEEI'ING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOI'A - HELD MA.Y 22, 1978 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular rreeting <br />of the City Council of the City of Rosevi11e, Minnesota, was duly <br />called and held at the City Hall in said City on the 22nd day of May, <br />1978, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />'Ihe fo11CMing rrerrbers were present: Acting Mayor CUrley, <br />CmIDcilmen Anderson, Kehr and Franke <br />and the follCMing were absent: Mayor DerrDs <br /> <br />M;mber Anderson <br />noved its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the follCMing resolution and <br /> <br />RESOLUTIOO NO. 6653 <br /> <br />REQUESTING THE METROPOLITAN COONCIL HRA <br />TO APPLY FOR REHABILITATlOO GRAm' FUNDS <br />FOR THE CITY OF rosEVILLE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville desires to assist low incare <br />hare<::M1ers in making repairs to their hares for the purpose of correct- <br />ing defects affecting directly the safety, habi tabi1i ty, energy usage, <br />or accessibility of the property; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency has funds to be <br />used for such purposes, and will accept applications from housing and <br />redeve10pnent authorities desiring to administer these Hare Irrprove- <br />rrent Grant Program funds; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the ~tropolitan Council has been duly organized <br />pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 1976, Section 473.123 and has all of <br />the p(Mers am duties of a housing and redevelopnent authority pursuant <br />to Minnesota Statutes 1976, 473.193 under the provisions of the Municipal <br />Housing and Redeve10prrent .Act, Minnesota Statutes 1976, Sections 462.411 <br />to 462.711; and <br /> <br />NCW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the ~tropo1itan Council <br />is hereby requested to include the City of Rosevi11e in an application <br />for state Hare Inprovenent Grant Program funds, and that upon approval <br />of such application, the City and the Metropolitan Council will enter <br />into an agreerrent for operating the program wi thin the City. <br /> <br />The notion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br />duly seconded by rrerrber Kehr and upon a vote being taken the <br />following voted in favor thereof: All t <br />presen <br /> <br />and the fOllCMing voted against the sarre.
