EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING ON THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD ON JUNE 12, 1978 * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regu- lar meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall in said City on the 12th day of June, 1978 at o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Mayor ~s, CounciJ1ren Kehr, Anderson, Franke and Curley and the following members were absent: None Member Anderson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 6665 RESOLUTION VACATING A PORTION OF A PUBLIC STREET WHEREAS, after two weeks published and posted notice, the City Council held a public hearing to determine whether or not a certain street in the City of Roseville should be vacated; and WHEREAS, it appears that by reason of changes in the use of the surrounding land, it would be beneficial to the public interest to vacate said street; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED: The City Council of the City of Roseville hereby vacates the public stree~ but retaining certain esements, over the property described as follows: That part of Western Avenue lying north of the North right-of-way line of Sandhurst extended westerly 66 feet and south of a line commencing at the northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 1, WEst View Addition, thence Southwesterly to a point of the west right- of-way line of Western Avenue, said point also being the south right-of-way of STH No. 36-118 and there terminating; in South One-half of Section 12, Township 29, Range 23, Ramsey County, Minnesota. The Council retains easement over the above to construct and maintain a 33 foot walkway and retains easements for utilities.
