RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE ESTABLISHING A COMMITMENT BY THE CITY TO ADOPT AND ADMINISTER AMENDMENTS TO THE CITY'S LAND USE CONTROL AND SURF ACE WATER MANAGEMENT PLAN TO ADDRESS THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL'S INTERIM STRATEGY TO REDUCE NONPOINT POLLUTION TO ALL :METROPOLITAN BODIES * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 11 th day of August, 1995 5:30 P.M. The following members were present: P. Johnson, Mastel, Wiski, Goedeke, and V. Johnson and the following were absent: None. Member Wiski moved that the following resolution be adopted. RESOLUTION NO. 9219 WHEREAS, the City of Roseville Comprehensive Plan Amendment request was approved by the Roseville City Council on September 12, 1995, subject to review and approval by the Metropolitan Council; and WHEREAS, the City of Roseville request for a Comprehensive Plan Amendment was received by the Metropolitan Council in July, 1994; and WHEREAS, in a letter dated July 28, 1995, the City was informed by the Metropolitan Council that its application for a Comprehensive Plan Amendment is incomplete because it does not include information indicating that the City has adopted the Metropolitan Council's INTERIM STRATEGY TO REDUCE NONPOINT POLLUTION TO ALL METROPOLITAN WATER BODIES; and WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council has been informed of the requirements set forth in the Metropolitan Council's INTERIM STRATEGY TO REDUCE NONPOINT POLLUTION TO ALL METROPOLITAN WATER BODIES, and recognizes that the City's stormwater plan must be amended to address the measures established by the strategy to gain approval of the City's Comprehensive Plan Amendment by the Metropolitan Council.
