EXI'RACT OF MINUI'ES OF A REGJIAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF rosEVIILE, MINNESOTA - HElD cx:TOBER 2, 1978 * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular rreeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall at 7: 30 P.M., f.bnday, CX::tober 2, 1978, at 7:30 P.M. The following zrerrbers were present: Mayor raws, Conncilrren Curley, Franke, Anderson and Kehr and the following were absent: None ~r Anderson introduced the follCMing resolution and roved its adoption: RFSOLurION NO. 6741 WHEREAS, certain menbers of the Foseville Police ~partrrent have joined IDeal 320 of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters and certain rrenbers of the Roseville Street Division of the Public Works D3part:Irent, along with certain rrenbers of the Roseville utility Division of the Public Works D3partrrent, and certain nenbers of the Roseville Parks & Recreation D3partIrent, have joined IDeal 49 of the International Union of Operating Engineers; and WHEREAS, the City Comcil has recognized the above two Union organizations as the sole representatives for those enployees who have joined the above unions; and WHEREAS, these Unions are represented by business agents; and WHEREAS, the City Comcil is desirous of maintaining proper relationships with the above naned Unions and their respective business agents ; NCM, 'IHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that in negotiations to be conducted between IDeal 320 IBT and IDeal 49 IUOE, that the City Comcil appoint the City Manager, or his agent, to be the City representative in any and all forthcoming negotiations for the year 1979.
