EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD ON DOCEMBER 4, 1978 * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall in said City on the 4th day of recenber, 1978 , at 7:30 P.M. 0' clock The following members were present: Councilrren Curley, Franke, Kehr and Aneerson and the following members were absent: Mayor renos, None Member Anderson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 6753 WHEREAS, by previous action of the City Council of the City of Roseville, it entered into a Joint Powers Agreement con- cerning sponsorship and funding of the Northwest Suburban Youth Service Bureau for the year 1978, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Roseville desires to extend said Agreement for another year to expire on the 31st day of December, 1979; and, WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council of the City of Roseville to amend paragraph 7 of said Agreement by providing for future extension to be made by resolution before the 30th day of November in the year preceding the year the extension is to take effect. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED: 1. The City Council of the City of Roseville hereby agrees to extend the Joint Powers Agreement by and between it and various other municipalities located in the County of Ramsey, State of Minnesota, so that said Agreement will expire on the 31st day of December, 1979. 2. The Mayor and City Manager are authorized to execute the Supplemental Joint Powers Agreement providing for amendment to paragraph 7 of said Joint Powers Agreement providing for future extensions to said Agreement to be adopted by resolu- tion of the Council before the 30th day of November in the year preceding the year in which the extension shall become effective. WHEREUPON, the said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
