EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA - HELD DEC. 4, 1978 * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall in said city on Monday, December 4, 1978, at 7:30 p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Demos, Councilmen Curley, Franke, Kehr, Anderson and the following were absent: None Men'ber Anderson moved its adoption: introduced the following Resolution and RESOLUTION NO. 6754 WHEREAS, due to physical obstacles and development patterns in the community it appears to the City Council of the City of Roseville that two Municipal Snate Aid Roadways hereinafter described should be deleted from the designated Municipal State Aid Street System under the provisions of Minnesota Laws of 1959 Chapter 500; ~~ NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville that the two roads described as follows, to wit: COUNTY ROAD C-2 (MSA 216) FROM FAIRVIEW AVENUE to TRUNK HIGHWAY 51 (Snelling Avenue) AND IONA LANE (MSA 224) FRO}! WESTERN AVENUE to TRUNK HIGHWAY 49 (Rice Street) be deleted from the designated Municipal State Aid System of said city subject to the approval of the Minnesota Department of Transportation. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized and directed to forward two certified copies of this resolution to the Minnesota Department of Transportation for their con- sideration and that upon approval of the deletion of said roadway or portions thereof that they would no longer be a part of the Municipal State Aid System. ThE! motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council member Kehr and upon a vote being taken the following voted in favor thereof: All p:reSBllt None and the following voted against the same: WHEREUPON, the said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
