<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA - HELD DEC. 4, 1978 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting <br />of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly <br />called and held at the City Hall in said city on Monday, December 4, <br />1978, at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Demos, Councilmen <br />Curley, Franke, Kehr, Anderson <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Men'ber Anderson <br />moved its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following Resolution and <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6754 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, due to physical obstacles and development patterns in <br />the community it appears to the City Council of the City of Roseville <br />that two Municipal Snate Aid Roadways hereinafter described should be <br />deleted from the designated Municipal State Aid Street System under the <br />provisions of Minnesota Laws of 1959 Chapter 500; <br /> <br />~~ <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City <br />of Roseville that the two roads described as follows, to wit: <br /> <br />COUNTY ROAD C-2 (MSA 216) <br />FROM FAIRVIEW AVENUE to TRUNK HIGHWAY 51 (Snelling Avenue) <br /> <br />AND <br /> <br />IONA LANE (MSA 224) <br />FRO}! WESTERN AVENUE to TRUNK HIGHWAY 49 (Rice Street) <br /> <br />be deleted from the designated Municipal State Aid System of said city <br />subject to the approval of the Minnesota Department of Transportation. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Director of Public Works is <br />hereby authorized and directed to forward two certified copies of this <br />resolution to the Minnesota Department of Transportation for their con- <br />sideration and that upon approval of the deletion of said roadway or <br />portions thereof that they would no longer be a part of the Municipal <br />State Aid System. <br /> <br />ThE! motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br />duly seconded by Council member Kehr and upon a vote being <br />taken the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />All p:reSBllt <br />None <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />WHEREUPON, the said resolution was declared duly passed and <br /> <br />adopted. <br />
