EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA - HELD DEC. 4, 1978 * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall in said city on Monday, December 4, 1978, at 7:30 p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Demos, Councilmen CUrley, Franke, Kehr and Anderson and the following were absent: None Member Anderson introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 6755 WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Roseville that three streets hereinafter described should be designated as a Municipal State Aid Street under the provisions of the Minnesota Laws of 1959 Chapter 500; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville that the roads described as follows, to wit: SKILLMAN AVENUE FROM FAIRVIEW AVENUE to TRUNK HIGHWAY 51 (Snelling Avenue) OAKCREST AVENUE FROM HAMLINE AVENUE to LEXINGTON AVENUE AND BROOKS AVENUE/TRANSIT AVENUE FROM LEXINGTON AVENUE to VICTORIA AVENUE be and hereby are established, located and designated a Municipal State Aid Street of said City subject to the approval of the Minnesota Depart- ment of Transportation. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized and directed to forward two certified copies of this resolution to the Minnesota Department of Transportation for consider- ation and that upon approval of the designation of said roadways or portion thereof that same be constructed, improved and maintained as Municipal State Aid Streets of the City of Roseville to be numbered and known as Municipal State Aid Streets.
