E2ITRACl' OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNFSOI'A - HELD Decent>er 4, 1978 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular rreeting of the City Council of the City of Poseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall in said City on M)nday, Decerrber 4, 1978, at 7:30 P.M. The fOl10Ning rrerrbers were present: Mayor Derros, Councilrren CUrley, Franke, Anderson and Kehr and the follONing were absent: None. f.Errber CUrley introduced the fol10Ning resolution and rroved its adoption: RESOLUrION NO. 6758 WHEREAS, the Legislature of the State of Minnesota did approve on May 8, 1975, House File 254, Chapter No. 119 of the 1975 law relating to the City of Posevil1e Firerren' s Pelief Association Service Pensions by arrending laws 1973, Chapter 464, Sections 2 and 3; and WHEREAS, the City Conneil of the City of Posevi11e recanrended and subsequently approved Chapter No. 119 of that 1975 law; and WHERF.AS, the City of Rosevil1e and the Firerren' s Pelief Association both desire to increase the benefit schedule authorized by Chapter 119; NCW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Conneil of the City of Rosevi11e that the follONing Sections of the Poseville Firerren' s Pe1ief Association be arrended as fol1a.vs: l(a) Section 38. Temporary Disability Limitation: As of January 1, 1979, the words, "...the sum of $3.00 Per day..." shall be arrended to read, "... the sum of $3.75 per day..."; (b) As of January 1, 1980, the words, "... the sum of $3.75 per day... II shall be anended. to read, "... the sum of $4.50 per day. . . II 2(a) Section 40. Death Benefits Incurred During Active Duty: As of January 1, 1979, the words, "... the sum of $1,500;... II shall be arrended to read, "...the sum of $1,875;..."; (b) As of January 1, 1980, the words, ".. .the sum of $1,875;... II shall be anended to read, "... the sum of $2,250;... II
