EXTRAcr OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOl'A - HELD DECEMBER 18, 1978 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular rreeting of the City Council of the City of Rosevi11e, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall on ~nday, ~cenber 18, 1978, at 7:30 P.M. The following nenbers were present: Mayor Derros, Councilrren Franke, Kehr, Anderson and Curley and the following were absent: None ~r Anderson introduced the following resolution and noved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 6760 WHEREAS, the City of Rosevi11e has elected to participate in the construction of bike trails in the Rosevi11e Central Park, and WHEREAS, the Office of IDeal and Urban Affairs, State Planning Agency, has authorized a grant to the City of Rosevi11e of $6,200 to develop bike trails in the Central Park between Victoria Street and Dale Street; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Rosevi11e make application to the State Planning Agency for a grant of $6,200 to construct bike trails in Central Park; and that the City of Rosevi11e pay the balance of the cost from other funds and/or services available to it; BE IT FURl'HER RESOLVED that the City Manager of the City of Rosevi11e be authorized and directed to execute and file such application with the State Planning Agency and provide additional inforrna.tion and furnish such docunents as may be required by said agency to execute such contracts as are required by said agency and to act as the authorized correspondent of the applicant. 'Ihe notion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Franke and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: All present and the following voted against same: None WHEREUPCN, the said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
