EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD ON DOCEMBER 18, , 1978 * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota was duly called and held at the City Hall in said City on the 18th day of Decerrber , 1978, at7:30 P.M. o'clock The following members were present: Councilrren Franke, Kehr, Anderson and Curley Mayor DenDs, and the following members were absent: None Member Curley and moved its adoption: introduced the following resolution RESOLUTION NO. 6766 RESOLUTION REQUESTING THAT THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE COUNCIL BE CONSULTED PRIOR TO ANY REAPPOINTMENT OF THE RICE CREEK WATERSHED DISTRICT WHEREAS, in January of 1979 the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners will consider appointments to the Rice Creek Water- shed District, and WHEREAS, part of the City of Roseville lies within the Rice Creek Watershed District, and WHEREAS, a very substantial part of the assessed valuation of the Rice Creek Watershed District lies within the City of Roseville, and WHEREAS, any decision by the Rice Creek Watershed District may have an impact on the City of Roseville and cooperation with the City of Roseville and the Rice Creek Watershed District is desirable. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED: 1. The City Council of the City of Roseville is hereby instructed to notify the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners that the City Council wishes to be consulted by the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners before any appointment to the Rice Creek Watershed District is made. 2. Any names of proposed candidates will be made by the City Council in its first meeting in January of 1979. 3. A certified copy of this resolution will be sent to the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners.
