<br />EXTRACI' OF MINUTES OF REGULAR MEEI'ING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESarA - HELD <br /> <br />February 12, 1979 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />* * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular <br />rreeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was <br />duly called and held at the City Hall in said City of the 12th day of <br />February, 1979, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The follCMing rrerrbers were present: Mayor Demos, <br />Councilmen Curley, Kehr, Franke and Anderson <br /> <br />and the follCMing rrembers were absent: None <br /> <br />M2mber CUrley <br />and rroved its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the follCMing resolution <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6788 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville has received requests <br />that the City of Roseville issue Industrial Revenue Bonds pursuant to <br />Minnesota Statutes Chapter 474 i and <br /> <br />WHERF.AS, THE City of Roseville, anticipates further <br />requests and determines to set forth the policy of the City of Rosevillei <br /> <br />NCW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE: <br /> <br />1. The City Manager is hereby instructed to furnish a <br />copy of this Resolution to those rraking inquiries as to the City's <br />policy on Industrial Revenue Bonds. <br /> <br />2. The City Council has determined: <br /> <br />a. That business conditions requiring such <br />rrethod of financing do not exist in the <br />City of Roseville i and <br /> <br />b. That present businesses have not had the <br />advantage of tax refinancing. <br /> <br />3. That all requests for financing industrial, commercial <br />or business projects as presently permitted under <br />Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 474, will not be considered <br />by the City Council. <br />
