Other Business <br /> 1693 Discussion of draft EMPLOYMENT DISTRICTS section of the Zoning Code Update in <br /> 1694 preparation for a public hearing on the same chapter at the August Planning Commission <br /> 1695 meeting. <br /> 1696 Mr. Paschke asked members to review of the document and provide their comments /concerns to <br /> 1697 staff at their earliest convenience, noting that this specific district was on the August docket. <br /> 1698 Mr. Paschke indicated that the Commission consider scheduling several special meetings during <br /> 1699 August and September for public hearings to dispense with the specific zoning district work to <br /> 1700 regulate all created zones and in order to provide sufficient debate and discussion, with the <br /> 1701 process running slightly behind schedule at this time, and the desire to avoid a critical time <br /> 1702 crunch for making recommendation to the City Council. Mr. Paschke noted the need to allow <br /> 0 703 time to hear land use cases coming before the Commission during the next few months. <br /> 704 Chair Doherty suggested attempting the third or fourth Wednesday of August and September for <br /> 1705 those special meetings; and tasked individual members with reviewing their schedules to <br /> 1706 determine their availability and to advise staff accordingly by e -mail. <br /> 1707 Mr. Paschke advised that he would select optional dates and secure the City Council Chambers. <br /> 1708 Mr. Paschke advised that there would be another Public Hearing at the 2 meeting in August to <br /> 1709 consider two (2) additional zoning district chapters; with staff's goal to get those chapters to <br /> 1710 members in advance of the meeting agenda packet materials to allow them sufficient review time. <br /> 1711 Extract from the August 4, 2010 Planning Commission Meeting Minutes <br /> 1712 a. PROJECT FILE 0004 <br /> 1713 Request by the Roseville Planning Division to consider corrections or amendments to the <br /> 1714 Comprehensive Land Use Plan designations of seventy -two (72) parcels throughout the City <br /> 1715 City Planner Thomas Paschke noted previous discussions held at the June Planning Commission <br /> 1716 meeting of numerous "anomaly" properties throughout the City that had been incorrectly guided <br /> 1717 during the Comprehensive Lane Use Map update process, with the list having grown from sixty <br /> 1718 seven to seventy -two (67 to 72) properties. Mr. Paschke noted, as detailed in the Request for <br /> 1719 Planning Action dated August 4, 2010, that in order to correct zoning designations on those <br /> 1720 properties, a Comprehensive Plan Land Use Amendment and applicable rezoning processes <br /> 1721 would need to be followed. Mr. Paschke advised that the City Council had concurred with <br /> 1722 recommendations for this process by the Planning Commission. <br />
