EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING ROSEVILLE CITY COUNCIL - HELD July 23, 1979 * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of the City of Roseville met in regular session at the City Hall on Monday, the 23rd day of July, 1979, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Demos, Councilmen Anderson, Franke, Curley and Kehr. Councilman Anderson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 6854 WHEREAS, after two weeks public posted notice, the City Council held a public hearing to determine whether or not a certain street in the City of Roseville should be vacated; and WHEREAS, it appeared that by reasons of changes in the land use of surrounding land it would be beneficial to the public interest to vacate such street; and WHEREAS, it is necessary for the public transportation system to have cul de sacs constructed at each end of the said vacated street; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Roseville hereby vacates the public street, but only after certain conditions have been met, over the property described as follows: That part of Wagner Street lying west of the west right-of-way line of Western Avenue to a point 200 feet west of the west right-of-way line of Western Avenue, thereby terminating in the South one half of Section 13, T. 29, R. 23 Ramsey County, Minnesota. The Council authorizes said vacation only upon completion to the city's satisfaction of the following conditions: 1. That a permanent utility easement be retained over that portion of Wagner being vacated. 2. That portions of Lot 17, 18, 19 and 23, Slack 2 of Rolling Green Subdivision and Parcels 1 and 2 of the Widerski property at 386 Wagner Street be dedicated to the City for street purposes.
