<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />ROSEVILLE CITY COUNCIL - HELD <br />July 23, 1979 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council <br />of the City of Roseville met in regular session at the City Hall on <br />Monday, the 23rd day of July, 1979, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Demos, Councilmen <br />Anderson, Franke, Curley and Kehr. <br /> <br />Councilman Anderson introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6854 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after two weeks public posted notice, the City <br />Council held a public hearing to determine whether or not a certain <br />street in the City of Roseville should be vacated; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it appeared that by reasons of changes in the land <br />use of surrounding land it would be beneficial to the public interest <br />to vacate such street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary for the public transportation system <br />to have cul de sacs constructed at each end of the said vacated street; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the <br />City of Roseville hereby vacates the public street, but only after <br />certain conditions have been met, over the property described as <br />follows: <br /> <br />That part of Wagner Street lying west of the <br />west right-of-way line of Western Avenue to <br />a point 200 feet west of the west right-of-way <br />line of Western Avenue, thereby terminating <br />in the South one half of Section 13, T. 29, R. 23 <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />The Council authorizes said vacation only upon completion to <br />the city's satisfaction of the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. That a permanent utility easement be retained over <br />that portion of Wagner being vacated. <br /> <br />2. That portions of Lot 17, 18, 19 and 23, Slack 2 <br />of Rolling Green Subdivision and Parcels 1 and 2 <br />of the Widerski property at 386 Wagner Street <br />be dedicated to the City for street purposes. <br />
