EXTRACT OF MINU'IES OF MEEI'ING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF roSEVILLE, MINNESOTA - HELD AUGUST 13, 1979 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular rreeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall, 2660 Civic Center Drive, in said City, on Monday, August 13, 1979, at 7:30 P.M. '!he following rrerrbers were present: Anderson, CUrley, Franke and Kehr and the following were absent: None Mayor Derros, Councilrren Council.rnra.n Curley and rroved its adoption: introduced the following resolution RESOLUTION NO. 6866 WHEREAS, the City of Roseville has applied to the Conmissioner of Transportation for a grant from the Minnesota Outdoor Recreation Act, Chapter 421 for the developrrent of a bikeway beginning Hamline Avenue ending Lexington Avenue and between Victoria Avenue and Fisk Street and located within County Road C Road right-of-way. WHEREAS, the anount of the grant has been detennined to be $19,182.45 by reason of the lowest responsible bid. NCW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Roseville does hereby affinn that any cost of the Bikeway in excess of the grant will be the responsibility of the City of Roseville, and that any grant rronies appropriated for the bikeway but not required, based on the final estimate, shall be returned to the Minnesota Outdoor Recreation Fund, Minnesota Departrrent of Transportation. 'Ihe City Manager is hereby authorized to sign and execute on behalf of the City of Roseville, Grant Agreerrent No. 62-3290-01, with the State of Mirmesota, a copy of which was before the Council. 'The rrotion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Kehr and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All present and the follONing voted against sarre: N one WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
