Extract of Minutes of Meeting of City council of City of Roseville Ramsey County, Minnesota Held: August 13, 1979 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of the City of Roseville met in regular session at the City Hall on Monday, the 13th day of August, 1979, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Demos and Councilmen Anderson, Curley, Franke and Kehr, and the following were absent: None. Councilman Anderson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 6868 RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT NO. P-78-9 WHEREAS, on July 10, 1978, the City Council of Roseville ordered the construction of Improvement No. P-78-9 and directed the Public Works Director to submit final plans and specifica- tions to the Council, and WHEREAS, bids were taken for the construction of the improvement on July 11, 1979, which bids were deemed to be unsatisfactory, and WHEREAS, bids were again taken for the construction of the improvement on August 13, 1979, which bids were also in excess of the original estimated cost of the improvement. THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Rosevil1e as follows: 1. The Council shall meet at the City Hall, 2660 Civic Center drive, in said City, on August 27, 1979, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. for the purpose of holding a second public hearing on the proposed improvement under and pursuant to the provisions of Minnesota statutes, Chapter 429 to advise the property owners affected of the increased cost of the improvement. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of the time, place and purpose of the meeting to be published twice in the official newspaper, Rosevil1e Sun, which publications shall be a week apart, and the second publication shall be not less than three days before the date of the hearing.
