This is a bit more than the original cost estimated

at the feasibility hearing, but as explained by the engineer,

$34,717 was due to the change order as requested by Lexington

Plaza. That will be 100 percent assessed against them, which

leaves a balance of $54,177 which approximates the original cost

that had been contemplated. Of that amount, $41,309 will be

assessed and $12,867 will be on general taxes. This will be

spread over 20 years with the 8 percent carrying charge and the

assessment will be made in accordance with the present water

assessment policy.

MR. ANDRE: We have a letter from the Lexington Avenue

Holding Company referring to the situation Mr. Honchell just

referred to, and we reaffirmed that the assessment would be

deferred until such time as there was a connection.

Mayor Demos announced that the meeting was open for the

consideration of objections, if any, to the proposed assessment.

-
All persons were given the opportunity to present oral objections.

No one appeared to be heard.

Mayor Demos closed the hearing and Councilman Curley

introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:

RESOLUTION NO. 6873

RESOLUTION ADOPTING AND CONFIRMING
ASSESSMENTS FOR IMPROVEMENT NO.
