<br />12~---e <br /> <br />r:; f 71 <br /> <br />Extract of Minutes of Meeting <br />of City Council <br />City of Roseville <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota <br /> <br />Held: August 20, 1979 <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting <br /> <br />of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was <br /> <br />duly held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, the 20th <br /> <br />day of August, 1979, at 7:00 o'clock p. m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Demos and <br /> <br />Councilmen Anderson, Curley, Franke and Kehr; and the following <br /> <br />were absent: None. <br /> <br />Also in attendance were: James F. Andre, City Manager, <br /> <br />Charles Honchell, City Public Works Director; Doug Strong of <br /> <br />the City Public Works Department; and Peter S. Popovich of <br /> <br />Peterson, Popovich, Knutson & Flynn, City Bond Consultants. <br /> <br />The City Manager presented an affidavit showing publica- <br /> <br />tion of notice of hearing on the proposed assessment for <br /> <br />Improvement No. SS-W-77-22 in the Roseville Sun on August 1, 1979, <br /> <br />- <br />which affidavit was examined, found satisfactory, and ordered <br /> <br />placed on file. The Manager also exhibited a Certificate of <br /> <br />Mailing Notice of Hearing to all affected property owners. <br /> <br />MR. HONCHELL: This was petitioned for by the developer <br />and it resulted in the construction of a watermain from the <br />existing line at Hamline to the end of the cul-de-sac, and the <br />extension. Sanitary sewer from Hamline into the cul-de-sac. <br />Also included was the curb, gutter and paving and associated <br />drainage with this project. The petitioner requested that only <br />the rear five lots be assessed the entire cost. <br /> <br />MR. POPOVICH: The published cost is $45,946. There was <br />no feasibility hearing because it was 100 percent petitioned for. <br />The street cost is $26,639; sanitary sewer $12,181; and water <br />cost, $7,126.
