<br />2 <br /> <br />MR. POPOVICH: The total cost of this improvement is <br />$44,908. It was petitioned for 100% by the property owners. <br />There was no feasibility hearing, and it will be 100% assessed. <br /> <br />The sanitary sewer portion for $25,081 is being spread <br />equally on each lot at the request of the developer at $I,090 <br />per lot. <br /> <br />The water assessment totals $19,826, $910 per lot, and <br />those with services an additional $353 for each service. <br /> <br />The street portion will corne next year. <br /> <br />It will be a 20 year assessment with 8% carrying charge. <br /> <br />MR. ANDRE: There are no written communications. <br /> <br />Mayor Demos announced that the meeting was open for the <br />consideration of objections, if any, to the proposed assessment. <br />All persons present were given the opportunity to present oral <br />objections. <br /> <br />No one appeared to be heard. <br /> <br />Mayor Demos closed the hearing, and Councilman Anderson <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6880 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING AND CONFIRMING <br />ASSESSMENTS FOR IMPROVEMENT NO. SS-W-78-12 <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br /> <br />Minnesota, as follows: <br /> <br />1. The amount proper and necessary to be specially <br />assessed at this time for Improvement No. SS-W-78-12 against every <br />assessable lot, piece or parcel of land affected thereby has <br />been duly calculated upon the basis of benefits, without regard <br />to cash valuation, in accordance with the provisions of Minne- <br />sota Statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, and notice has been <br />duly mailed and published, as required by law, that this Council <br />would meet to hear, consider and pass upon all objections, if <br />any, and said proposed assessment has at all times since its <br />filing been open for public inspection, and an opportunity has <br />been given to all interested persons to present their objec- <br />tions, if any, to such proposed assessments. <br />
