EXTRAcr OF MINUTES OF A REGUIAR MEETING OF THE CITY CCUNCIL OF roSEVILLE, MINNESOI'A - HELD November 5, 1979 * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular rreeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, was held in the City Hall at 7: 30 P.M., M::mday, Noverrber 5, 1979. '!he following nenbers were present: Mayor D=ITos, Councilrren Anderson, Curley, Kehr and Franke and the following were absent: None Menber Anderson introduced the following resolution and roved its adoption: RFSOLtmON NO. 6895 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Roseville is the official governing body of the City of Roseville errpawered to provide for the public health, safety and welfare of its citizens; and WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the need for a citizen advisory body to advise the Council on certain IPatters relating to franchising a cable cormnmications system; NCM, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF roSEVlILE in regular rreeting assenbled as follCMs: A. Corrmi ttee 1. 'Ihat an ad hoc comni ttee, which shall be narred "'Ihe Roseville Cable Corrrnunications Comnittee", shall be established to advise the City Council in relation to certain aspects of franchising a cable comrmmications system in the City of Roseville. 2. That the Corrmittee be composed of 3 - 7 nenbers. The tenn of the appointIrents shall terminate tlIXln receipt of the Conmi ttee 's report by the City Council. 3. 'Ihat the Corrmi ttee shall be composed of ItEItbers who shall be residents of the franchise area who are not coIt"ll:rercially involved in cable cormnmications activities or other corrmunications nedia. 4. '!hat the nenbers shall serve without compensation and nay be rerroved from office at any tine by the City Council. B. Duties of the Corrmittee. The Conrnittee is hereby directed to:
