EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD MARCH 24 , 1980 * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall in said City on the 24th day of March , 1980, at 7: 30 _ o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Demos, Counci lmen Anderson, Kehr, Franke and Curley None and the following members were absent: Member Curl ey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption-------- RESOLUTION NO. 6934 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Roseville finds that it is in the best interests of the City to settle the claim made by Audrey Sutherland for alleged discrimination against her. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: 1. The City Manager is authorized to disburse a draft payable to Audrey Sutherland and Don Lattimore, her attorney, in the amount of $1,000.00. 2. The City Manager is authorized to send a letter to Audrey Sutherland advising her that she will be retained as a sworn officer for the purposes of making PER A payments and that there will be no retribution against her because of her lawsuit. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member .
