<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE ROSEVILLE
<br />CITY COUNCIL - HELD JUNE 9, 1980

<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting
<br />of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Ramsey County, Minnesota,
<br />was duly held at the City Hall on Monday, June 9, 1980, at 7:30 P.M.
<br />
<br />The following members were present: Mayor Demos,
<br />
<br />Councilmen Curley, Franke, Anderson and Kehr
<br />
<br />and the following were absent: None
<br />
<br />Member Anderson
<br />and moved its adoption:
<br />
<br />introduced the following resolution
<br />
<br />RESOLUTION NO. 6951
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Land Planning Act requires local
<br />governmental units to prepare Comprehensive Plans and submit them to the
<br />Metropolitan Council for review; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, this Comprehensive Plan represents the response of the
<br />City of Roseville to the requirements of the Metropolitan Land Planning
<br />Act; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, this plan was adopted by the City of Rosevi11e Planning
<br />Commission on September 5, 1979, following a public hearing with required
<br />legal notice; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, this plan was sent to: St. Paul, Falcon Heights,
<br />Lauderdale, St. Anthony, New Brighton, Arden Hills, Shoreview, Little
<br />Canada, Map1ewood, Minneapolis, School District 623, School District 621
<br />and Ramsey County for review and comment on October 1, 1979; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, this plan was considered and accepted but not adopted
<br />by the City Council on June 9, 1980; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, this plan shall be transmitted to the following:
<br />St. Paul, Falcon Heights, Lauderdale, St. Anthony, New Brighton, Arden
<br />Hills, Shoreview, Little Canada, Map1ewood, Minneapolis, School District
<br />623 and School District 621 and Ramsey County concurrently with submission
<br />to the Metropolitan Council for formal review under the Metropolitan Land
<br />Planning Act;

<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
<br />of Rosevi11e, that the City Manager is authorized and directed to submit
<br />the Comprehensive Plan and revisions dated May 28, 1980, prepared by Howard
<br />Dahlgren Associates, to the Chairman of the Metropolitan Council for
<br />review under Section 473.175 of the Metropolitan Land Planning Act.
