<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE ROSEVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL - HELD JUNE 23, 1980 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting <br />of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Ramsey County, Minnesota, <br />was duly held at the City Hall on Monday, June 23, 1980, at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Demos, Councilmen <br />Franke, Anderson and Kehr <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Member Anderson <br />moved its adoption: <br /> <br />Councilman Curley <br />introduced the following resolution and <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6953 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council adopted Resolution No. 6895 <br />on November 5, 1979, regarding the formation of a citizen's advisory body <br />to advise the Council on certain matters relating to franchising a cable <br />communications system in Roseville; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council recognizes a need to continue this advisory <br /> <br />body; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Resolution No. 6895 is <br />hereby reci nded. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED as follows: <br /> <br />1. That an ad hoc committee, which shall be named the <br />"Roseville Cable Communications Advisory Committee II <br />shall be established to advise the City Council in relation <br />to certain aspects of franchising a cable communication <br />systems in the City of Roseville <br /> <br />2. That the Committee be composed of 3 - 7 members. <br /> <br />3. That the terms of the appointments of members of the <br />Committee and the existence of the Committee shall <br />terminate on December 31,1980. <br /> <br />4. That the Committee shall be composed of members who <br />shall be residents of the City of Roseville who are not <br />commercially involved in cable communication activities <br />or other communications media. <br /> <br />5. That members shall serve without compensation and may be <br />removed from office at any time by the City Council. <br /> <br />6. That meetings of the Committee may be called from time to <br />time as required. <br />
