The City Manager shall prepare and cause to be inserted <br />in the Roseville Pun, the official paper, and in the Construction <br />Bulletin, an advertisement for bids uoon the making of such <br />approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be <br />published as required by law, shall specify the work to be done, <br />shall call for bids on the basis of a cash paYment for such <br />work, shall state that the bids will be received by the City <br />Manager and "ublic ~orks Director until 11:00 o'c1ock a.m. on <br />July 22, 1980, at which time they will be publicly opened in <br />the City Hall by the City Manager and City public Works Director, <br />will then be tabulated, and will subsequently be considered by <br />the Council, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed <br />and filed with the Manager and accompanied by a cash deposit, <br />certified check or bid bond payable to the Manager for ten <br />percent of the amount of such bid. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution <br /> <br />was duly seconded by Councilman l~ehr and upon vote being taken <br /> <br />thereon, the following voted in favor~ All, and the following <br /> <br />voted against~ None: whereupon said resolution was declared <br /> <br />duly passed and adopted. <br />
