<br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All present <br />and the following voted against the same: None <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />Councilman Anderson <br /> <br />then introduced the fOllowing reso- <br /> <br />lution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />Resol ution No. 6972 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RELATING TO COMBINED IMPROVEMENTS <br />SS-W-ST-P-78-29 AND ST-SW-79-4 <br />DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND <br />ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, contracts have been let for Combined Improvements <br />SS-W-ST-P-78-29 and ST-SW-79-4 of the City of Roseville, <br />including all that property bounded by Snelling Avenue on the <br />west, Hamline Avenue on the east, Lydia on the north and <br />Centennial Drive on the south by the installation of extension <br />of sanitary sewer services, water services, storm sewer, con- <br />crete curb and gutter, bituminous paving and necessary appur- <br />tenances; and in the area abutting Snelling frontage road on <br />the east side of Snelling Avenue from Lydia Avenue south to a <br />point 1200 feet north of County Road C by the installation of <br />storm sewer, sidewalk and necessary appurtenances; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the foregoing is in the area described in the <br />legal notice relating to the original hearing on the improvement <br />and the resolution relating thereto, and the contract price for <br />such improvement is $ 355.)87. ~ and the other expenses in- <br />curred or to be incurred 1n t e making of said improvement <br />amount to $ 60.311.84 so that the total cost of the improve- <br />ment will be $ 41!l~4qq fll_' and of this cost the City t'lill pay <br />$ 334.073.53 as 1ts snare of the cost. <br /> <br />NON, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the <br />City of Roseville, Minnesota, as follows: <br /> <br />I. The cost to be specially assessed is hereby declared <br />to be $ 81.426.08 <br /> <br />2. The City Manager, together with the assistance of the <br />City Public Works Director, shall forthwith calculate the proper <br />amount to be specially assessed for such work against every <br />assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the improvement <br />affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, <br />and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his <br />office for public inspection. The City Manager may arrange for <br />the assistance of the Data Processing Division of the County of <br />Ramsey in the preparation of the proposed assessment roll. <br />
