Councilman Anderson then introduced the fOllowing reso- lution and moved its adoption: Resol ution No. 6972 RESOLUTION RELATING TO COMBINED IMPROVEMENTS SS-W-ST-P-78-29 AND ST-SW-79-4 DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL WHEREAS, contracts have been let for Combined Improvements SS-W-ST-P-78-29 and ST-SW-79-4 of the City of Roseville, including all that property bounded by Snelling Avenue on the west, Hamline Avenue on the east, Lydia on the north and Centennial Drive on the south by the installation of extension of sanitary sewer services, water services, storm sewer, con- crete curb and gutter, bituminous paving and necessary appur- tenances; and in the area abutting Snelling frontage road on the east side of Snelling Avenue from Lydia Avenue south to a point 1200 feet north of County Road C by the installation of storm sewer, sidewalk and necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, the foregoing is in the area described in the legal notice relating to the original hearing on the improvement and the resolution relating thereto, and the contract price for such improvement is $ 355.)87. ~ and the other expenses in- curred or to be incurred 1n t e making of said improvement amount to $ 60.311.84 so that the total cost of the improve- ment will be $ 41!l~4qq fll_' and of this cost the City t'lill pay $ 334.073.53 as 1ts snare of the cost. NON, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, as follows: I. The cost to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $ 81.426.08 2. The City Manager, together with the assistance of the City Public Works Director, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such work against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the improvement affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public inspection. The City Manager may arrange for the assistance of the Data Processing Division of the County of Ramsey in the preparation of the proposed assessment roll.
