IIIcase of a cluster development,a townhome,or cluster development <br /> lot. <br /> Conforming:Designates a lot,use,or structure which satisfies all <br /> applicable requirements of this Title as amended. <br /> Congregate care:See assisted living. <br /> Contractor's yard:An establishment providing general contracting <br /> or building construction services,including outdoor storage of <br /> machinery or equipment. <br /> Convent:See monastery. <br /> Council:The word"Council"or the words"City Council"shall mean <br /> the City Council of the City of Roseville,Minnesota. <br /> Courtyard development:A form of a cluster development that <br /> designs the residential units around a common courtyard. <br /> Currency exchange business:Any entity,except a bank,trust <br /> company,savings bank,savings and loan association,credit union, <br /> or industrial loan and thrift company,engaged in the business of <br /> cashing checks,drafts,money orders,or travelers'checks for a fee. <br /> D <br /> Day care:As defined in Minnesota rules,day care means the care <br /> of a child in a residence outside the child's own home for gain or <br /> otherwise,on a regular basis,for any part of a 24-hour day. <br /> IIIDay care,family:As defined in Minnesota rules,means:Day care for <br /> no more than 10 children at one time or which nor more than 6 are <br /> under school age.The licensed capacity must include all children of <br /> any caregiver when the children are present in the residence. <br /> Day care,group family:As defined in Minnesota Rules,group <br /> family day care care for no more than 14 children at any one time. <br /> The total number of children includes all children of any caregiver <br /> when the children are present in the residence. <br /> Day care center:A facility in which a child care program is operated <br /> when the facility in not excluded by Minnesota Statutes and is not <br /> required to be licensed under said Minnesota Statutes as a family or <br /> group family day care home. <br /> Density:The number of dwelling units permitted per net acre of land <br /> Development:Any man-made change to improved or unimproved <br /> real estate,including,but not limited to,the placement,construction, <br /> or modification of structures,ditching,lagooning,dredging,filling, <br /> grading,paving,excavation,or drilling operations,and the deposition <br /> or extraction of earthen materials. <br /> Drip line:A vertical line extending from the outermost branches of a <br /> tree to the ground. <br /> Dormer:A window set vertically in a structure that projects through <br /> a sloping roof or a structure that contains such a window. <br /> • Dormitory:A building designed for or used as group living quarters <br /> for students of a high school,college,university,or seminary, <br />
