Public Hearing for the Lake Owasso Safe Boating Association's Request for <br /> Placement of Water Ski Course and Jump on Lake Owasso <br /> Mayor Roe opened the Public Hearing at 8:10 p.m. for the purpose of hearing <br /> public comment on the reconstruction of Dale Street between County Road C and <br /> South Owasso Boulevard. <br /> Public Comment <br /> Steve Youngquist, 391 S Owasso Boulevard, President of the Lake Owasso <br /> Safe Boaters Association <br /> Mr. Youngquist provided background information on the association, in addition <br /> to that included in the agenda packet materials. Mr. Younquist noted the in- <br /> volvement of the Association in the annual Courage Center event on the lake. <br /> Mayor Roe closed the Public Hearing at 8:14p.m. <br /> 12. Business Items (Action Items) <br /> a. Consider Lake Owasso Safe Boating Association's Request for Placement of <br /> Water Ski Course and Jump on Lake Owasso <br /> Willmus moved, McGehee seconded, authorizing staff to concur with the request <br /> and send written concurrence to the Ramsey County Sheriff's Department of the <br /> results of tonight's Public Hearing regarding the request of the Lake Owasso Safe <br /> Boating Association for placement of a water ski course and jump on Lake Owas- <br /> so in 2011. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Johnson; McGehee; Willmus; Pust; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> b. Consider City Abatement for Unresolved Violations of City Code at 1430 <br /> Brenner <br /> Permit Coordinator Don Munson reviewed violations at this single-family de- <br /> tached home located at 1430 Brenner Avenue, currently vacant, with the older <br /> owner(s), Leo and Evelyn Rosier, living elsewhere; and as detailed in the RCA <br /> dated February 28, 2011. <br /> Mr. Munson advised current complaint was brought to staff's attention by neigh- <br /> bors. Mr. Munson advised that staff had been in contact with the owner's family, <br /> who were unable to make the repairs, but that the owner was unwilling to sell the <br />
