City of RV4SEV1LI.r Minnesota,USA Regular City Council Meeting Minutes City Hall Council Chambers, 2660 Civic Center Drive Monday, March 14, 2011 Roll Call Mayor Roe called to order the Roseville City Council regular meeting at approximately 5:00 p.m. Mayor Roe, and Council Members Johnson and McGehee were present. Councilmember Pust arrived at approximately 5:20 p.m. Parks and Recreation Chair Jason Etten and Police Civil Service Commission Chair James Campbell were also present. Mayor Roe noted Councilmember Willmus' absence due to out of state travel. Advisory Commission Interviews The City Council met at approximately 5:00 p.m. for the purpose of interviewing applicants for vacancies on the Planning, Parks and Recreation, Ethics and Police Civil Service Commissions. Interviews were held at approximate ten minute intervals with the following applicants: Applicant Commission(s) Michael Boguszewski Planning David Nelson Planning William Rodrique Planning Wendy Thompson Planning Public Comment—Mr. James Anderson,3004 Arona Street Mr. Anderson spoke regarding an issue he has had with a neighbor maliciously blowing snow against Mr. Anderson's home, and in support of a city ordinance to restrict placing snow more than 5 feet over the property line onto a neighbor's property. Mayor Roe thanked Mr. Anderson for his comments, and indicated that Mr. Anderson's request would be forwarded to staff for review and report back to the city council. Mayor Roe noted that Mr. Anderson would be informed of the report back to the city council. Continued Advisory Commission Interviews Applicant Commission(s) Benjamin Lehman Planning and Ethics Jeff Lester Planning and Ethics Council Communications, Reports and Announcements Mayor Roe announced the upcoming session of Roseville U, an opportunity to learn more about how your City government works. Roseville U sessions will occur on Thursdays for 7 weeks,
