Regular City Council Meeting <br /> Monday, March 21, 2011 <br /> Page 27 <br /> Road residents and County Road C-2 residents; and while not having a firm opi- <br /> nion on whether that needed further study based on current information available; <br /> he spoke in support of the Pulte project and its moving forward, based on results <br /> of the traffic study supporting ongoing safety levels. <br /> Mayor Roe spoke in support the motion; expressing his enthusiasm for the devel- <br /> oper and their excellent work in meeting requirements of the City's new zoning <br /> code and tree preservation ordinance. <br /> Mayor Roe noted the need, in reviewing whether County Road C-2 should be ex- <br /> tended through from Victoria past Snelling as a corridor, to ensure that the solu- <br /> tion was not creating another problem elsewhere; and supported looking into it, <br /> suggesting that it be included in the City Council's work plan. <br /> Mayor Roe asked that staff follow-through with the developer on the fence along <br /> Lexington Avenue as the Final Plat and Public Improvement Contract were nego- <br /> tiated. <br /> City Engineer Bloom advised that she and Community Development Director <br /> Trudgeon were already discussing language for an Encroachment Agreement as <br /> part of the Public Improvement Contract to facilitate the fencing. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Pust; Willmus; Johnson; McGehee; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> Pust moved, Willmus seconded, directing staff to proceed with investigation of <br /> pursuing a corridor study to consider pros and cons of connecting County Road <br /> C-2 based on impacts city-wide and beyond; and to return to the City Council <br /> with their recommendations upon their completion. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Pust; Willmus; Johnson; McGehee; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> 13.
