EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA - HELD September 8, 1980 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall in said City on the 8th day of September, 1980, at 7:30 P.M. The following members were present: Mayor Demos, Councilmen Kehr, Anderson, Curley, Franke and Demos and the following were absent: None Member Franke introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 7024 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT TO JOINT AND COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WHEREAS, the City of Roseville. Minnesota, has entered into a Joint and Cooperative Agreement providing for the creation of the Suburban Rate Authority, and WHEREAS, the present form of such Joint and Cooperative Agreement does not authorize the Suburban Rate Authority to part- icipate in proceedings or engage in activities involving the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission, and WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Suburban Rate Authority has recommended that such organizations be authorized to participate in proceedings or engage in activities involving the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission, and WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable that such authority be conferred upon the Suburban Rate Authority and that this be accomplished by the execution of the amendment to the Joint and Cooperative Agreement. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL~ED by the City Council of the City of Roseville. Minnesota, as follows: 1. The mayor and manager are authorized and directed to execute the Amendment to the Joint and Cooperative Agreement giving authority for Suburban Rate Authority involvement in matters relating to the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission.
