If <br /> 188 wants shift, the parks department adjusts allocation fairly. <br /> 189 <br /> 190 Brokke refuted the claim that fields are in disrepair. If a field is deemed unsafe, it is repaired or <br /> 191 taken out of use. He acknowledged that some equipment is out of date and the city has financial <br /> 192 pressures preventing repairs. <br /> 193 <br /> 194 The Commission took the report under advisement and asked that parties keep the HRC abreast of <br /> 195 activities. <br /> 196 <br /> 197 6. Future Agenda Items <br /> 202 <br /> 203 Commissioner McKenzie asked for a volunteer to attend the St. Paul Human Rights Commission <br /> 204 March 15 meeting to talk about Roseville's efforts to set up a forum for welcoming for immigrants <br /> 205 to the community. Commissioner Kennedy volunteered to attend and agreed to report back to the <br /> 206 HRC. <br /> 207 <br /> 208 Commissioner Kennedy asked Commissioner Barrett to work with the high school to get someone <br /> 209 to come to the next meeting to talk about the various youth groups. <br /> 210 <br /> 211 8. Announcements <br /> 212 <br /> 213 Chair Singleton said that this was the last meeting for Commissioner Jaeger and Vice-Chair Oftelie. <br /> 214 He thanked them for their years of work on the Commission. Commissioners Jaeger and Oftelie <br /> 215 commented on how much they enjoyed being involved in the commission and expressed pride on <br /> 216 the progress the commission has made in recent years. All commissioners extended appreciation to <br /> 217 Commissioner Jaeger and Vice-Chair Oftelie. <br /> 218 <br /> 219 9. Adjournment <br /> 220 <br /> 221 Commissioner Yates moved and Commissioner Oftelie seconded motion to adjourn. Motion <br /> 222 prevailed. <br />
