<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />ROSEVILLE CITY COUNCIL - HELD <br /> <br />September 22, 1980 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council <br />of the City of Roseville met in regular session at the City Hall <br />on Monday, the 22nd day of September, 1980, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Demos, <br />Councilmen Anderson, Curley, Franke and Kehr <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Councilman Anderson introduced the following resolution <br />and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 7034 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on July 23, 1979, by Resolution No. 6854, the <br />City did approve the vacating of a portion of Wagner Street from <br />Western Avenue 200 feet west with certain conditions being est- <br />ablished for said vacation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said conditions were not met as set forth in <br />Resolution No. 6854; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the adjacent land uses are now being utilized <br />differently than that which was presented to the City on July 23, <br />1979, causing the original consideration for a vacation of that <br />portion of Wagner Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is in the public interest to retain this portion <br />of Wagner Street as a public roadway; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the <br />City of Roseville hereby voids the vacation of a portion of Wagner <br />Street originally approved for vacation on July 23, 1979, via <br />Resolution No. 6854 for that portion of Wagner Street lying west of <br />the westerly line of Western Avenue and 200 feet west of the western <br />line of Western Avenue, because the conditions in Resolution No. 6854 <br />were not met. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br />duly seconded by Councilman Kehr and upon a vote being taken <br />thereon the following voted in favor: All present <br />and the following against: None <br /> <br />Whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
