EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br /> County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 11th day of April, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. <br /> The following members were present: Willmus, McGehee, Pust, Johnson and, Roe <br /> and the following were absent: none. <br /> Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION No. 10889 <br /> RESOLUTION PROVIDING CONCEPT APPROVAL OF A 2-YEAR BUDGET <br /> FOR THE FISCAL YEARS OF 2012 AND 2013 <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council recognizes the long-term planning and budgeting benefits that accompany a <br /> 2-year budget; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council acknowledges current State Statutes that require a budget and property tax <br /> levy to be adopted annually; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council will adopt a 2-year budget with the understanding that a mid-term financial <br /> review will be necessary before formally adopting the budget and property tax levy in the second year. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,by the City Council of the City of Roseville,Minnesota,that a <br /> 2-year budget shall be adopted for the upcoming biennium. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Pust and upon a <br /> vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Willmus, Pust, Johnson and, Roe <br /> and the following voted against the same: McGehee <br />
