<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF :MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called held at the City Hall on Tuesday, the 5th <br />day of December, 1995 at 5:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: P. Johnson, Mastel, Goedeke, Wiski, V. Johnson <br />and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Member P. Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9255 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING SCOTT GRESETH/WELSH COMPANIES REQUEST FOR AN <br />AMEND:MENT TO A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO EXPAND THE NUMBER OF <br />GAMING DEVICES AT LAVA LINKS, 1665 W. COUNTY ROAD B-2 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said regulations provide that amusement centers may be allowed within the <br />confines of a SC Shopping Center zoning district as a conditional use; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, approval of an amendment to an existing conditional use permit for an <br />amusement center in the Crossroads Shopping Center at 1665 W. County Road B-2 has been <br />requested by Lava Links to add 14 amusement devices (for a total of 50); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission recommended approval of such amendment <br />to an existing conditional use permit subject to certain conditions on November 8, 1995; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council conducted a public hearing on the requested <br />amendment to the conditional use permit on December 5, 1995. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (the "Council") of the City of <br />Roseville, Minnesota (the "City"), Ramsey County, Minnesota, that an amendment to an existing <br />conditional use permit for an amusement center within a SC Shopping Center zoning district be <br />approved subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. That the approval be subject to the floor plan and operation/security plan presented to the <br />City Council on December 13, 1993. <br />2. The total number of amusement devices shall be limited to 50 or less (November 27, 1995). <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember Mastel and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: P. Johnson, <br />Mastel, Goedeke, Wi ski, and V. Johnson and the following voted against the same: None. <br />
