EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City ofRoseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called held at the City Hall on Monday, the 5th day of December, 1995 at 5:30 P.M. The following members were present: P. Johnson, Mastel, Goedeke, Wiski, and V. Johnson and the following were absent: None. Member Goedeke introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: Resolution # 9256 A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING CITY OF ROSEVILLE GOALS FOR THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL LIVEABLE COMMUNITY HOUSING PROGRAM WHEREAS, the City of Roseville has revised and adopted the City's Comprehensive Plan with a series of housing goals and strategies, and WHEREAS, the goals of the Comprehensive Plan is to maintain and improve the existing housing and public infrastructure and provide opportunities for housing which meets the life styles and ages of the residents, and WHEREAS, November 13, 1995, the City ofRoseville City Council approved, by resolution, the city's participation in the Liveable Communities Program, and WHEREAS, the City ofRoseville Planning Commission, on November 8, 1995, did review and comment on the application and goals for the Liveable Community Housing Program, and did recommend participation, and WHEREAS, the City ofRoseville City Council held hearings to gather public input on the goals on December 5, 1995 and December 11, 1995. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Roseville hereby adopts the following overall goals for Roseville's for the Liveable Communities Program: 1.0 Maintain and improve the following while staying at or above the LCA benchmarks and city indexes specified for Roseville: 1.1 variety of housing types (owner occupied and rental) 1
