<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />ofRoseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called held at the City Hall on Monday, the <br />5th day of December, 1995 at 5:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: P. Johnson, Mastel, Goedeke, Wiski, and V. <br />Johnson and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Member Goedeke introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />Resolution # 9256 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING CITY OF ROSEVILLE GOALS FOR THE <br />METROPOLITAN COUNCIL LIVEABLE COMMUNITY HOUSING PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville has revised and adopted the City's Comprehensive Plan with a <br />series of housing goals and strategies, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the goals of the Comprehensive Plan is to maintain and improve the existing <br />housing and public infrastructure and provide opportunities for housing which meets the life <br />styles and ages of the residents, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, November 13, 1995, the City ofRoseville City Council approved, by resolution, the <br />city's participation in the Liveable Communities Program, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City ofRoseville Planning Commission, on November 8, 1995, did review and <br />comment on the application and goals for the Liveable Community Housing Program, and did <br />recommend participation, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City ofRoseville City Council held hearings to gather public input on the goals <br />on December 5, 1995 and December 11, 1995. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Roseville hereby <br />adopts the following overall goals for Roseville's for the Liveable Communities Program: <br /> <br />1.0 Maintain and improve the following while staying at or above the LCA benchmarks and <br />city indexes specified for Roseville: <br /> <br />1.1 variety of housing types (owner occupied and rental) <br /> <br />1 <br />
