Grass Lake Water Management Organization Special Meeting Minutes July 22, 2010 5:00 p.m. City of Roseville, 2660 Civic Center Drive, Hawthorne Room Call the Meeting to Order Chair Ferrington called to order the regular meeting of the Grass Lakes Water Management Organization (GLWMO) at 5:00 p.m. Members Excused: None. Others Present: Tom Petersen Ramsey Conservation District; Duane Schwartz, Roseville Public Works Director; Mark Maloney, Shoreview Public Works Director; Chip Welling, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (MNDNR); and several Roseville residents and members of the Lake Owasso Association, including Edward Roberts, Dan Kelsey, Karen Buskey and Bob Terry. Introduction of GLWMO's Newest City of Roseville Representative Member Chair Ferrington introduced and welcomed GLWMO's newest board member, Ms. Mary Kay VonDeLinde, who lives adjacent to Lake Owasso in Roseville. Ms. VonDeLinde brings her concerns for environmental issues, specifically for wetlands, lakes and rivers and is eager to learn more to support the health of our community's water. Review and Approve Agenda Chair Ferrington provided the following additional items for tonight's prepared agenda: (1) an informational item providing an update on filing Statements of Economic Interest by members with the Campaign Finance Board; and (2) an Action Item for payment of additional invoices not included in the agenda packet (Recording Secretary Services Invoice for Sheila Stowell, reimbursable to the City of Roseville as fiscal agent). MOTION Member Manzara moved, Member Eckman seconded approval of the agenda as amended. Ayes: 5 Nays: 0 Motion carried.
