<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA - HELD NOVEMBER 10, 1980 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of <br />the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held <br />at the City Hall in said City on Monday the 10th day of November, 1980 <br />at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Demos, Councilmen Franke, <br />Curley and Kehr <br />and the following were absent: None. Vacant: One. <br /> <br />Councilman Curley introduced and moved the adoption of <br />the following resolution: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 7068 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Cameron D. Anderson served the City of Roseville as <br />a member of the Park Board and Planning Commission from January, 1964 <br />through April 1969; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Cameron D. Anderson served the City of Roseville as a <br />member of the City Council from April, 1969 to December, 1973; and <br />again from January 1976 to the time of death on October 22, 1980; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Cameron D. Anderson represented the City of Roseville <br />as a member of the Northwest Suburban Youth Service Bureau Board from <br />May, 1976 to present; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Cameron D. Anderson represented the City of Roseville as <br />a member of the Metropolitan Transit Advisory Board from April, 1976 <br />to present; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Cameron D. Anderson had served the citizens of Roseville <br />in a manner which commanded the abiding respect of his friends and <br />associates; <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Roseville City Council, on <br />behalf of all the citizens of Roseville, wishes to express to his <br />beloved family sincere appreciation for Cameron's high standard of <br />public service, and his many contributions to the community of which <br />he served; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Roseville City Council expresses <br />a deep respect and sentiment for the memory of Cameron D. Anderson; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be instructed to <br />prepare and forward a certified copy of this resolution to each member <br />of his family. <br />
