~ 7C; 7/ Extract of Minutes of Meeting of City Council City of Roseville Ramsey County, Minnesota November 17, 1980 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, November 17, 1980, at 7:00 o'clock p. m. The following members were present: Mayor Demos and Council- men Curley, Kehr and Franke; and the following were absent: One Vacancy. Also present were James F. Andre, City Manager; Robert Bell, City Attorney; Charles Honchell, City Public Works Director; and Peter S. Popovich, City Bond Consultant. MAYOR DEMOS: The next hearing is Griggs Street from Woodhill Drive to County Road C-2 and Judith from Fernwood to east of Griggs Street, Paving, curb and gutter. MR. ANDRE: We have the certificate of mailing and affidavit of publication for this project on file. MR. HONCHELL: Once again we have a residential street that is existing and has been petitioned for by 53.3% of the property owners to have it upgraded to the City standard. The roadway involved is Griggs from Woodhill to County Road C-2 (inaudible) as far as termination points. In accordance with the City's policy of improving the side streets at the time the frontage streets are undertaken, Judith, Fernwood to its existing dead-end (inaudible) to its plat line are also included. The existing roadway is just slightly less than the 32-foot width proposed. Most of you have seen the slides so unless you wish to see the slides, it's the same, 32 foot width, centered in the roadway, asphalt, concrete curb and gutter. There are no particular problems with trees that we know of. No particular sub drainage or drainage problem or sub base problem we're aware of. There are existing catch basins at various locations along the roadway.
