EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br /> OF THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> * * * * * * * <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 28th day of March, 2011, at <br /> 6:00 p.m. <br /> The following members were present: Pust; Willmus; McGehee; and Roe and the following <br /> members were absent: Johnson <br /> Councilmember Pust introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 10886 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT NO. PW 2010-26: <br /> RAMSEY COUNTY COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF <br /> ROSEVILLE <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, as follows: <br /> WHEREAS, the County has determined that there is justification and it is in the public's best <br /> interest to install a new traffic control signal with street lights, signs, interconnect and <br /> emergency vehicle pre-emption at County Road C and Prior Avenue; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City requested and the County agrees to an Emergency Vehicle Pre-emption <br /> System, hereinafter referred to as the "EVP System" as a part of said traffic control signals with <br /> street lights in accordance with the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth; and <br /> WHEREAS, construction cost of the traffic control signals with street lights, signs, interconnect <br /> and emergency vehicle pre-emption will be funded by Roseville M.S.A.P. 160-246-007 <br /> funds/City Project M-10-17; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County and the City will participate in the maintenance and operation of said <br /> traffic control signals with street lights, signs, interconnect and EVP system as hereinafter set <br /> forth. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to execute the <br /> Agreement and any amendments to the Agreement. <br /> The motion was duly seconded by Councilmember Willmus and upon vote being taken thereon, <br /> the following voted in favor thereof: Pust; Willmus; McGehee; and Roe and the following <br /> voted against: none <br />
