EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br /> OF THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br /> of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 18th day of April, <br /> 2011, at 6:00 p.m. <br /> The following members were present: Willmus; McGehee; Pust; Johnson; and Roe the <br /> following were absent: none. <br /> Councilmember Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION No. 10891 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING METROPOLITAN COUNCIL <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES MUNICIPAL <br /> INFILTRATION/INFLOW GRANT AND DESIGNATING <br /> AN AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE FOR THE PROJECT <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Roseville has applied for and been awarded grant funds in the <br /> amount of$156,662.00 for capital improvements to the Roseville municipal waste water <br /> collection system to reduce the amount of inflow and infiltration to the Metropolitan <br /> Council's sanitary sewer disposal system; and <br /> WHEREAS, in order to receive the grant funds the City of Roseville is required to <br /> provide to the Metropolitan Council a Resolution which authorizes the City of Roseville <br /> to enter into the Metropolitan Municipal Publicly Owned Infrastructure <br /> Inflow/Infiltration Grant Program Grant Agreement-Construction Grant for the Roseville <br /> 2010/2011 Inflow/Infiltration Improvement Project ("Agreement"), the Certification <br /> required thereunder, and all other documents referred in said Agreement; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Roseville <br /> hereby ratifies and approves the Agreement, authorizes the City of Roseville to undertake <br /> the I/I Municipal Grant Program and Project referred to in the Agreement, including the <br /> financial responsibilities of the City as shown in Article IV of the Agreement, and <br /> authorizes and empowers its Mayor and City Manager to enter into and execute the <br /> Agreement, Certification and all other documents referred to in the Agreement, on behalf <br /> of the City, and to perform or direct the performance of all other actions necessary to <br /> consummate the requirements of the City of Roseville under the Agreement. <br />
