EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 18th day of April, 2011, at 6:00 p.m. The following members were present: Willmus; McGehee; Pust; Johnson; and Roe the following were absent: none. Councilmember Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION No. 10891 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING METROPOLITAN COUNCIL ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES MUNICIPAL INFILTRATION/INFLOW GRANT AND DESIGNATING AN AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE FOR THE PROJECT WHEREAS, the City of Roseville has applied for and been awarded grant funds in the amount of$156,662.00 for capital improvements to the Roseville municipal waste water collection system to reduce the amount of inflow and infiltration to the Metropolitan Council's sanitary sewer disposal system; and WHEREAS, in order to receive the grant funds the City of Roseville is required to provide to the Metropolitan Council a Resolution which authorizes the City of Roseville to enter into the Metropolitan Municipal Publicly Owned Infrastructure Inflow/Infiltration Grant Program Grant Agreement-Construction Grant for the Roseville 2010/2011 Inflow/Infiltration Improvement Project ("Agreement"), the Certification required thereunder, and all other documents referred in said Agreement; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Roseville hereby ratifies and approves the Agreement, authorizes the City of Roseville to undertake the I/I Municipal Grant Program and Project referred to in the Agreement, including the financial responsibilities of the City as shown in Article IV of the Agreement, and authorizes and empowers its Mayor and City Manager to enter into and execute the Agreement, Certification and all other documents referred to in the Agreement, on behalf of the City, and to perform or direct the performance of all other actions necessary to consummate the requirements of the City of Roseville under the Agreement.
