EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA - HELD November 24, 1980 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held at the City Hall in said City on Monday, the 24th day of November, 1980, at 7:30 P.M. The following members were present: Mayor Demos, Councilmen Kehr, Curley and Franke and the following were absent: None. Vacant: One Councilman Curley introduced and moved the adoption of the following resolution: RESOLUTION NO. 7082 WHEREAS, the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency has heretofore applied to the United States Environmental Protection Agency for a Federal Grant under Section 314 of the Clean Water Act (33 USC ~ 1324); WHEREAS, said Federal Grant, identified as Project No. 32100- AOl-81 for McCarron's Lake Study, has been approved by said Federal Agency and received by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency; and WHEREAS, the City of Roseville has been offered a State Grant for Lake Improvement Grants-in-Aid under Minnesota Laws 1979, Chapter 333, Section 31, Subdivision 6(a), by the State of Minnesota, Pollution Control Agency in order to aid in financing implementation of said project under certain terms and conditions which are stated in the Subs tate Agreement which is made a part hereof by reference thereto, and WHEREAS, the City is desirous of accepting said State Grant in accordance with the terms and conditions of said Substate Agreement and to give the assurances therein required, and WHEREAS, it is requisite that a representative of said City be authorized to sign a document evidencing acceptance of said offer by the City; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: 1. That the City of Roseville hereby accepts said offer of the State of Minnesota, Pollution Control Agency, which is made pursuant to Minnesota Laws 1979, Chapter 333, Section 31 Subdivision 6(a) for a State Grant for Lake Improvement
