Discussion ensued regarding retaining the 368 Board' s management ability of water bodies with the State Classification System; no net 369 degradation from today's Plan; jurisdictional considerations for wetlands and their 370 management standards under the Third Generation Plan and whether it may transcend the 371 Wetlands Act; considerations with construction of storm water ponds and meeting 372 technical criteria of a wetland but created for the intent of storm water management; and 373 community alternatives for storm water management creating a potential to fill in a 374 wetland (e.g. Central Park in Roseville). Ms. Correll noted that the Wetlands Act only 375 talked about wetland fill; and referenced table columns and applicable standards that 376 would apply to a wetland and /or storm water management pond. Ms. Correll used 377 Bennett Lake as an example of a wetland, now classified as a shallow lake as more water 378 was introduced into it.
