• B. Permits Required: <br /> 1. In addition to any permit requirements of an underlying district or specific shoreland or waterfront <br /> improvements, permits are required for the construction of retaining walls, driveways,parking lots, <br /> patios, fences, water related accessory structures, watercraft accessory devices and signs within the <br /> building setback area from the ordinary high water mark. Application for a permit shall be made to the <br /> ICommunity Development Director(or designee)Department on the forms provided. The application <br /> shall include the necessary information including visual displays, soil, slope and vegetation protection <br /> plans so that city staff can determine the site's suitability for the intended use. <br /> 2. All permits within this chapter must specify a termination date, not to exceed 12 months from the date <br /> of issuance. A permit may be determined to be null and void by the Community Development Director <br /> Department if it is determined after issuance that false supporting information was filed with the permit <br /> application. As part of any such determination, the Director Department staff may issue a stop work <br /> order,post the same on site, send a copy by certified mail to the permittee and determine what other <br /> enforcement action is necessary. <br /> C. Certificate of Zoning Compliance: The Community Development Director Department shall issue a <br /> certificate of zoning compliance for each activity requiring a permit as specified in this chapter. This <br /> certificate shall specify that the use of land conforms to the requirements of this Chapter. Maintenance of Records: Said Official Zoning Map shall be on file in the office of the Community <br /> I Development DireetorDepartment. The Community Development Director Department shall maintain <br /> the necessary records to maintain and display the Official Zoning Map as amended. <br /> D. Boundaries: The boundaries of the overlay districts as shown on the Official Zoning Map are <br /> considered to be approximate and must be established on the ground at the time of any application for <br /> I permit, variance, conditional use, planned-unit-development-or subdivision of land. <br /> E. Allowable Land Uses: The existing zoning on the site shall specify the allowable land uses but all <br /> such uses must additionally comply with any more restrictive standards and criteria of this Chapter. <br /> F. Private Sewer Systems Prohibited: Individual on-site sewage treatment systems are prohibited in all <br /> Water Management Overlay Districts.
