<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE ROSEVILlE <br />CITY COUNCIL - HELD MARCH 23, 1981 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of <br />the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called <br />and held at the City Hall in said City on Monday, March 23, 1981 at <br />7:30 P. M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Demos, Councilmembers: <br />Curley, Johnson and Kehr and the following were absent: Franke. <br /> <br />Councilman Curley introduced and moved the adoption of the <br />following resolution. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 7125 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville has been made aware of certain bills <br />that have been introduced into the State Legislature; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, these bills are scheduled to be considered by the appropriate <br />Legislative Subcommittees in hearings in the near future; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, these bills have an impact on the policies and operation of <br />the City of Roseville <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Roseville does hereby <br />go on record as being supportive of or opposed to these bills as follows: <br /> <br />H.F. 22 relating to Industrial Revenue Bonds. OPPOSED in that <br />these bills propose limitations that would unreasonably restrict <br />the use of Industrial Revenue Bonds in the state. <br /> <br />H.F. 671 relating to manufactured homes as a permitted use in <br />single-family residential zones. OPPOSED in that this bill <br />would preempt local zoning ordinances. <br /> <br />H.F. 815 relating to gasoline tax and motor vehicle taxes. <br />SUPPORT in that this bill would provide additional, much <br />neede~ revenue in the form of State Aid Funds. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is hereby instructed <br />to forward a copy of this Resolution to all Roseville State Legislators. <br />
