Call to Order <br />Chairperson Melissa Weldon called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br />Melissa Weldon, LuAnne Pederson, Patrick Sc hmidt, and Margo Fjelstad <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br />David Horsager <br /> <br />Others Present: <br />City Manager Bill Malinen and City Attorney Mark Gaughan <br /> <br />II. Approve Minutes of August 11, 2010 <br />Pederson moved, Schmidt seconded, approva l of the minutes of the August 11, 2010 <br />meeting, as presented. <br />Ayes all. <br /> <br />III. Discuss April 14, 2011 Training Session <br />City Manager Malinen advised that there ma y be a scheduling conf lict with the Council <br />chambers for training date. The Commission s uggested adjusting the training date as <br />necessary <br /> <br />The training session subcommittee of Dave Horsager and Luann Pederson have <br />discussed the format of th e session, and someone from Co mmission will be conducting a <br />review of the City Code prior to the speaker. <br /> <br />IV. Topics for May 16, 2011 Joint Meeting with the City Council <br />The Commission will review the years work, including: <br />a) Training <br />b) Ethics Tips <br />c) Review of 4/14/11 Training <br />d) Report on Complaints or Advisory Opinions <br /> <br />V. Discuss Annual Review of the City Code <br />The Commission asked if there had been any complaints for review – both attorney and <br />City Manager said “no”. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
